Akiva Miller
Owner & Principal, Akiva Miller Law
I have worked as in-house counsel since 2014, first at SaaS companies and, since 2021, at blockchain and FinTech companies. I started this firm to give growth-stage companies that experience on a fixed fee.
Background
I graduated from New York University School of Law with an LL.M. in 2013, and in 2014 I went in-house at Kaltura, a video technology company, as its second lawyer. I supported enterprise account executives through customer contract negotiations across many industries.
In 2017 I joined Sisense as its second lawyer. I started as commercial counsel and moved into product and privacy work, building privacy compliance from the ground up.
In 2021 I joined Axoni, a capital markets technology company, as Director of Legal and ran its legal function through 2024.
In 2025 I joined Ondo Finance as Assistant General Counsel. I managed legal and commercial diligence on counterparties for the global launch of its tokenized stocks and ETFs, and worked with DeFi protocols integrating Ondo's tokens as collateral.
In 2026 I was product counsel at ABFinance, where a two-person legal team prepared a retail finance app for launch in under two months.
Along the way I have supported venture financings and acquisitions alongside outside corporate counsel, and helped companies through ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification.
