What this policy covers

This policy explains how Akiva Miller Law PLLC ("the Firm," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through akivamillerlaw.com.

Information we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your company and phone number, if you choose to provide them
  • The contents of your message

This site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and it does not run analytics tools.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Decide whether the Firm can help you, including checking for conflicts of interest
  • Communicate with you about potential legal services

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Service providers

We rely on a few providers to run this site:

  • Web3Forms delivers contact form submissions to our email inbox.
  • Vercel hosts the site. Like most web hosts, Vercel processes technical data such as IP addresses to serve pages and protect against abuse.
  • Google Fonts supplies the site's typefaces. Google may receive your IP address when your browser loads the fonts.
  • Calendly handles scheduling if you choose to book a call through our booking link.

Each provider's own privacy policy governs its handling of your data.

Confidentiality and security

The site runs over HTTPS and uses security headers to limit unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Submitting the contact form does not create an attorney-client relationship, so please do not send confidential or privileged information until we have formally agreed to represent you.

Data retention

We keep contact form submissions as long as we need them to evaluate and respond to your inquiry, run conflict checks, and meet our professional obligations. If we do not establish an attorney-client relationship, we delete your information within a reasonable time.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you submitted through this site. Email akiva@akivamillerlaw.com, and we will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any professional obligation to retain records.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post changes on this page with a new effective date.
